The distribution and light-industrial build-out of the last fifteen years happened along the loop, not downtown, which means a lot of drivers spend their day between 1604 shippers and never touch the inner city at all. What didn't get built alongside all that warehouse space was anywhere to park the truck when the shift ends.

Our answer is to be a short, simple run south instead of a spot on the loop itself. From the 1604/US-281 interchange on the south side, it's roughly 25 minutes down 281 to FM 1784 in Pleasanton. From 1604 at I-37, figure 25 to 30 minutes south on the interstate and then west on TX-97. Either way you're off the loop, out of the congestion, and behind a gate on paved ground — without crossing the metro or dealing with downtown.
That trade is the point. Twenty-five minutes of highway in exchange for knowing the spot is there is a good deal the first time you make it, and a very good deal the fourth time you would otherwise have circled a full truck stop at 10 p.m. If your loads come off the southern arc of 1604 — the 281, I-37, and I-35 South quadrants — we're the closest reservable yard most drivers will find.
One honest limit: if you work the north and northeast side of the loop around 281 North, I-10 West, or Loop 1604 at Bulverde, you're adding 15 to 20 minutes just getting around to the south side. Why park south of 1604 instead of on it?
Because 1604 doesn't have space. The loop is ringed by retail, subdivisions, and business parks with signed truck restrictions, and the truck stops at the big interchanges are full most weeknights by dark. Going 25 minutes further south trades a little windshield time for a spot you actually know is there.
Is there truck parking on the north side of Loop 1604?
Not from us — we're one yard, on the south end of the metro at 6785 FM1784 in Pleasanton. If you run the north or east arc of 1604 regularly, we're honest that we're a stretch. If your loads land anywhere on the south half, we're closer than most alternatives.
Can I get to you without going through downtown San Antonio?
Yes, and you should. From 1604 you can drop south on either US-281 or I-37 and never touch the downtown grid or the 410 inner loop. Both routes are truck-legal the whole way.
