Eagle Ford Shale Truck Parking & Staging

Eagle Ford freight doesn't run on a nine-to-five. Sand hauls stack up ahead of a frac, crude and produced water move on cycles set by tank levels, and equipment gets dragged from pad to pad on schedules that change the night before. All of that depends on having somewhere to put a truck between runs — somewhere that isn't a lease road, a county shoulder, or a customer's pad where you're in the way.

Our yard at 6785 FM1784 in Pleasanton sits on the northern edge of the play in Atascosa County. Jourdanton is about ten minutes west, Charlotte roughly 25, Karnes City 45 to 50 east on TX-97, and Three Rivers about 35 minutes down I-37. That puts you inside the footprint instead of deadheading down from San Antonio at the start of every shift and back up at the end of it.

The surface matters more in this business than most. Caliche and dirt yards turn to soup after a South Texas rain, and a loaded tank trailer parked on soft ground is a problem you'll remember. Our spots are paved and level, with lanes wide enough to back a 53-footer or maneuver a lowboy without a spotter walking you in.

For operators running multiple units, the yard functions as leased capacity you can turn off. Rig counts move, contracts end, and the last thing anyone needs is a year-long lease on dirt that sat empty for four months of it.
